Starting fromDecember 22nd 2007, almost three weeks of screenings of films destined for the youngest audience will take place in the "House of Cinema" of the Association of Russian Filmmakers, as well as in a few Moscow cinemas.
On January 18th, the electoral-report meeting of the Children's and Youth Section took place at the Polish Filmmakers Association.
On January 26th, another meeting within the project "Super Cinema in Hannover“ took place. Thanks to the programme "Polish Cinema For Young Audiences Abroad“, young spectators were able to see two films: "Magiczne drzewo-Drewniany Pies" (The Magic Tree - Wooden Dog) and "Magiczna gwiazda" (The Magic Star).
On Saturday October 13 another Super Kino showing took place in Hannover.
Two films from Dziecięca Wytwórnia Filmowa - an animated film workshop organized for children at Entropia Gallery in Wrocław - received awards at the International Kids for Kids festival in Naples.
Director Maria Kaniewska and Film Studio Se-Ma-For were the main attractions of this year’s St. Nicholas Day with Films at the Museum of Toys and Fun in Kielce (5-7 of December 2007). Over 700 children participated in ten free showings. The project was realized in co-operation with Polish Filmmakers Association.
On December 8 another edition of Super Kino took place in Hannover. The film matinées are organized as a part of Young Audience Cinema Abroad program.
36 animated, short and feature films are competing for prizes at the 10th "Olympia" Children and Youth Film Festival in Greece. Among them a short film entitled "13 years and 10 months" realized by Jennifer Malmquist in co-operation with the Film Academy in Łódź.
During the 32nd Polish Film Festival, another edition of “Gdynia for Kids" festival will take place between 17 and 22 of September.

This year for the first time in history of Festiwal Polskich Filmów Fabularnych w Gdyni (Polish Film Festival in Gdynia) Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich (Polish Filmmakers’ Association) organized a special showing for blind children.
During the XIX International Festival "Prix Danube" in Bratislava Stowarzyszenie Filmowców Polskich (Polish Filmmakers’ Association) in cooperation with Instytut Kultury Polskiej (Institute of Polish Culture) presented a retrospective of animated films for children.
